It strikes me as I read pages from substantial periodicals of the sound arts, that their publication task is both endless and impossible. Perhaps this set of artists and works is a niche, a subset of the greater worldsound, self-fulfilled and codified by the magazines which create them, becoming shaping forces of influence.
